On May 5th, nearly 600 garden enthusiasts visited five fabulous gardens in the Camarillo area. The Garden Tour included musicians, artists from the Pastel Society, refreshments (beautifully managed by volunteers from the National Charity League), and a well-curated raffle.

We’d like to thank the owners of the five magnificent gardens — The Hardy Garden, The Hipp Family Garden, The Kuehnel Garden, The Naumann Garden, and Rancho Santa Clara del Norte.

We are grateful to Las Posas Berry Farms, Nothing Bundt Cakes, and Old New York Deli & Bakery for donating delicious refreshments.

We are especially thankful for the volunteer committee who worked year-round to make this event a success: Chair Carol Weaver and members Pat Distad, Cameron Draine, Sue Murphy, Susan Naumann, Komali Nunna, Martha Poulos, Linda Ramelli, Kathy Trembley, and Ruff Smith.

All proceeds from the event—$30,000—directly support our most vulnerable neighbors: parents, grandparents, children, and friends. This support provides care, comfort, counseling, and education to those facing a life-limiting illness or grieving the loss of a loved one—all without charge.
