About Livingston


Spotlighted for excellence in Nov. 2016 by the Ventura County Board of Supervisors, the “COPD Access to Community Health” (CATCH) Program is a free-of-charge program designed to improve health outcomes for people with respiratory disease. Livingston Memorial Visiting Nurse Association has been providing visiting nurses for the program since October 2014.  At last count, 1,805 participants have had pulmonary functions tests and have received patient education, including medication review and management, nutrition and resource information.  

Ventura Townehouse Community Appreciation Award

Health Champion Award 2016

LMVNA Board of Directors Vice Chair and Treasurer, Thomas P. Pecht, Teresa Pavan, RN, Vice-President/COO and Dr. Lanyard Dial, President/CEO and Medical Director received the award.

Livingston Memorial Visiting Nurse Association was awarded the Partnership for a Healthy Ventura County’s “Health Champion Award” on March 8th at the Ventura County Board of Supervisors’ Meeting. This award is given each year to those community partners who excel in one of the committee focus areas. Livingston is the Healthy in Healthcare Committee’s pick for the award.

The members of the Healthy at Healthcare Committee selected LMVNA for providing home health and hospice care to Ventura County residents, regardless of their ability to pay. They also honored LMVNA for the work that has been done to help Ventura County residents live healthier lives by providing free health education classes and bereavement counseling. The committee further recognized that because of Livingston’s reputation for excellence, the agency was selected to partner with Ventura County Health Care Agency to provide no-cost services for the Ventura County CATCH program, in order to improve outcomes for people diagnosed with COPD.

Customer Satisfaction Leader of 2015 Ojai Chamber of Commerce

February 25, 2016 at the Celebrating Business in the Ojai Valley Awards Gala, Livingston Memorial Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice won the award for “Customer Satisfaction Leader of the Year 2015” by the Ojai Valley Chamber of Commerce. This award honors the Ojai Valley Chamber Member who consistently delivers the best customer service experience.

Dr. Dial-Who's Who in Healthcare 2015

Congratulations to Dr. Lanyard Dial, President/CEO and Medical Director was named in the Pacific Coast Business Times, “Who’s Who in Healthcare ” for the Tri-counties region. Dr. Dial, along with other healthcare leaders were highlighted in the November 2015 publication.

Readers Choice-Senior Services West County-2015

For the second year in a row, Livingston Memorial Visiting Nurse Association received the Senior Assistance award for West Ventura County (Camarillo, Fillmore, Somis Oxnard, Oak View, Ojai, Piru, Port Hueneme, Santa Paula, and Ventura). Ventura County Star readers picked their favorites in 128 categories in Community, Food and Drink, Services and Shopping throughout the county.  

Livingston thanks our compassionate and caring staff for their dedicated efforts. Each of them deserves this award. Livingston is grateful to be serving the residents of all ages in Ventura County since 1947, regardless of their ability to pay. We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the readers of the Ventura County Star for entrusting Livingston with their home health and hospice needs, as well as their votes for 2015 “Reader’s Choice” Senior Assistance Award.

Large Business of the Year -2013 Ventura Chamber of Commerce

On December 12, 2013 the Ventura Chamber of Commerce hosted the Annual Poinsettia luncheon honoring the outstanding achievements of businesses who have made a difference in the Ventura Community. The Ventura Chamber of Commerce presented Livingston Memorial Visiting Nurse Association with the Large Business award.
