Garden Tour 2018

Camarillo Garden Tour

Lad smelling flower

This year’s Garden Tour raised over $32,000 to directly support our most vulnerable neighbors — parents, grandparents, children and friends — when they need care, comfort, support, counseling, and education when facing a life-limiting illness or grieving the loss of a loved one. All provided without charge.

Nearly 500 people attended the event this year. Our garden owners welcomed them with stories of how their gardens were created, composting tips and advice. Long-time supporters The Pastel Society of the Gold Coast provided five talented artists who gave first-hand demonstrations of their art. The Master Gardeners of Ventura County staffed a busy booth where guests had their gardening questions answered. Landscape Architect David Snow talked about his Slusser Garden design. Bob Mucica gave tips about how to plant tomatoes for the best results. Camarillo Cupcake and Nothing Bundt Cakes donated treats for our refreshment station. Five talented musicians donated their time to create a friendly atmosphere at each home.

Nine artisans participated in our boutique. You can find more information about each one — they’re local and will be happy to help you with special orders.
