Garden Tour 2018

Camarillo Garden Tour

Lad smelling flower

This year’s record-breaking Garden Tour raised
nearly $36,000 to directly support our most
vulnerable neighbors — parents, grandparents, children
and friends — when they need care, comfort, support, counseling, and education when facing a life-limiting
illness or grieving the loss of a loved one.
All provided without charge.

Over 550 people attended the event this year. Our garden owners welcomed them with stories of how their gardens were created, fresh-picked fruit and advice. Long-time supporters The Pastel Society of the Gold Coast provided five talented artists who gave first-hand demonstrations of their art. The Master Gardeners of Ventura County staffed a busy booth were guests had their gardening questions answered. Bob Muiaca gave tips about how to plant tomatoes for the best results. Yankee Doodle Bakery and Nothing Bundt Cakes donated treats for our refreshment station at Maravilla Gardens.

Five talented musicians donated their time to create a friendly atmosphere at each home.
