Our Care Team

Livingston Memorial Visiting Nurse Association professional caregivers are specially selected, background checked and trained to provide the highest level of professional care in time of need.

Our care team consists of:

Licensed Nurses make regularly scheduled home visits to assess patient needs and teach the patient, family, and/or caregivers about their care. They assist in controlling pain and other symptoms and have experience in areas such as geriatrics, orthopedics, wound care, and infusion therapy. In addition to general skilled nursing care, many diagnoses and illnesses require the expertise of nurse specialists. Livingston comprehensive health care offers specialized nursing services under the direction of the patient's physician.

Certified Home Health Aides provide assistance with personal care needs and help the patient perform activities of daily living.

Licensed Therapists (Physical, Occupational, Speech) help patients recover from surgery, illness or injury as quickly and safely as possible. Thorough examination, evaluation and physical intervention, therapists promote increased mobility, higher functional ability and improve the quality of life.

Licensed Medical Social Workers serve the extensive psychosocial needs of patients and their families. They provide counseling regarding financial needs and work with the care team to provide the patient/family with community resources and emotional support.

Licensed Dieticians provide nutrition counseling and diabetic teaching. Blood sugar monitoring and testing, along with medication instruction are just some of the services our dieticians provide.
