Recognizing that so many people in our community were affected by the Thomas Fire -- with personal tragedies, loss of homes, ongoing fire danger, and poor air quality -- we had to cancel the Light Up a Life events in Ventura and Ojai.

Although we understood that these are important events to so many of you as a time to recognize and remember your loved ones in the holiday season, we made the decision because we do not want to jeopardize anyone's well-being further by pulling you away from your homes and family, creating more traffic and more pressure on our responders.

We have opportunities for you to remember your loved ones.

In Camarillo:

Please stop by our Camarillo office during business hours to place a star on the memory quilt and to view the heartwarming photo presentation. The photo presentation can be also viewed on our website. The buttons will take you directly to the information. Click here to view photos from the Camarillo Tree of Life event.

In Ventura:

Please stop by the Pacific View Mall near Target during business hours to view the stars placed on the tree. The photo presentation can be viewed on our website. The buttons will take you directly to the information.

In Ojai:

Be assured that Livingston has been deeply involved in assisting our many patients who have been evacuated, supporting our staff who have likewise been evacuated, and consulting with and assisting with the Ventura County disaster response team of which Livingston has long been a partner. We continue to care for our patients and support their families in their hospice and home health needs throughout the county.

The long list of the many persons being remembered through Light Up will continue to be posted on our website. Thank you for your understanding and your support. You allow us to make a difference supporting our Ventura County community wherever it is in need.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and those in need throughout this disaster and beyond
