Volunteers Are the Heart and Soul of Livingston

We hosted our annual Volunteer Recognition Dinner at the lovely Wedgewood Banquet Center on November 9th. It was a wonderful evening of tributes, appreciation, music, and more. Livingston awarded volunteer Douglas Van Bogelen with the Roy Carlson Award, recognizing him as volunteer of the year. His barbershop quartet-mates surprised him by attending the dinner and the four men treated the other guests to an impromptu performance.

Duet Angela DeVita and Francisco Leon performed Brazilian music throughout the evening.

Each volunteer took home a door prize, courtesy of our many community donors. We especially appreciate the generous underwriting of the evening by Alma Via of Camarillo, Joseph P. Reardon Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Sherry Scott and ZestNet/Duane Eels & Rick Ruffinelli.

Livingston deeply appreciates all of its volunteers. Our mission would no be possible without them.
